A countdown timer is a clock that counts down to zero from a set time, commonly used to track time until an event or deadline.

How to add a countdown timer?

1. Create a Shopify metaobject (Settings > Custom data > Metaobject definitions)

1. Configure your metaobject like the following:

Type used for “Timer”: Date and time

1. Create an entry from the metaobject called Countdown timer (Content > Metaobjects> Countdown timer)

1. Copy the handle and paste it whenever it is asked (in the annoucement bar section for e.g.)
